Donation as an alternative to the General Disability Law (LGD)

Article 42.1 of the General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and their Social Inclusion, adopted by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013, establishes the obligation of public and private enterprises employing more than 50 workers to reserve a quota of 2% for professionals with disabilities.

At Fundación Prodis we help companies on their path to the labour inclusion of people with disabilities, through our Supported Employment service. However, if the company is not in a position to hire, we help it to comply with the Law through the alternative measures provided for therein, and subject to the recognition of exceptional circumstances.
