• Integral Occupational Service

Description

The Integral Occupational Service (SIO), born in 2011, is aimed at the comprehensive care of people with intellectual disabilities with great support needs.

The approach of the SIO moves away from the traditional model of occupational workshop, integrating in the intervention model, an inclusive and personalized training for each user, which aims to achieve maximum autonomy and well-being of all users and their families.

This new model of Occupational Center, pivots over three areas: occupational, personal and social adjustment and employment. Each of them has several programs and departments that respond to different profiles, customizing each itinerary to different support needs.

At present, 111 persons with intellectual disabilities are assisted in this service.
